The mission of the Marvin and Rosalie Okun Foundation is to honor our founders by supporting programs that will have a significant, long-term, and positive impact on the lives of those within the Kalamazoo community.

Board meetings typically occur on the 4th Monday of April and October.

Grant decisions can be expected within one week of the Board Meeting.

  • 2025 SPRING Consideration - Applications received by 11:59pm on Monday, March 31, 2025 will be reviewed at our board meeting currently scheduled for Monday, May 5, 2025.

  • 2025 FALL Consideration - Applications received by 11:59pm on Monday, September 22, 2025 will be reviewed at our board meeting currently scheduled for Monday, October 27, 2025.
